Sandy Island is located on the north western side of the island of Grenada. This absolutely beautiful island is part of the nation of Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique. These being the main islands as there are many other beautiful smaller islands that are also part of this multi island country.
Carriacou is one of last islands in the southern Caribbean to remain mainly untouched by mass tourism. It has a population of about just 5000 very lovely people who have not been contaminated by the harsher ways of the world so the crime rate is virtually zero.
